Pokhara

Before and after your trek

Every Annapurna trek starts and ends in Pokhara. Our packages already include the tourist bus from Kathmandu and your hotel nights in Pokhara. For anything extra, we help you arrange it.

We help you arrange

Pickup, extra nights and a rest day

Pickup if you fly in

Flying to Pokhara instead of taking the bus? We book a driver we trust to meet you at the airport and take you to your Lakeside hotel. You pay the driver on arrival.

Extra nights in Lakeside

Staying longer than your package? Tell us your budget and we suggest two or three places. You book and pay the hotel directly.

A rest day in Pokhara

We plan a day around Sarangkot, Phewa Lake and the Peace Pagoda that fits your energy after the trek, and tell you what each part costs.

Getting back to Kathmandu

We tell you which tourist bus or flight suits your plans and when to book it.

These extras are outside your trek price. We arrange them as a favour to our trekkers and take no commission: you pay the driver, hotel or ticket office yourself.

Questions

Pokhara FAQ

Do you pick me up from Pokhara airport?

Our packages include the tourist bus from Kathmandu. If you fly to Pokhara instead, we can book a trusted driver to meet you at the airport, and you pay the driver directly. Agree the fare before you get into any taxi you find yourself.

How much is the cable car to Sarangkot?

For foreign visitors it is USD 8 one way or USD 12 return, according to Annapurna Cable Car's ticket page (checked October 2026). It runs daily from 5 am to 7 pm and the ride takes about 9 minutes.

Should I add a rest day in Pokhara after my trek?

We recommend it. Bad weather can delay the drive or flight back from the trailhead, and a spare day in Pokhara means a delay doesn't cost you your flight home.
